About The Position

Touchmark on West Prospect is Appleton’s leading full-service senior living community, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through exceptional service, hospitality, and care. We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Lead Dining Server to support our Dining Services team. This role combines hands-on service with team leadership, providing excellent table service while guiding and supporting other servers to ensure a smooth, high-quality dining experience. This is more than a serving role — it’s an opportunity to lead by example, elevate the dining experience, and help your team deliver exceptional service every day.

Requirements

• Previous serving experience required
• Strong understanding of table service and dining etiquette
• Ability to lead, coach, and support team members in real time
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
• Ability to work evenings and weekends consistently
• Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain within one month)

Nice To Haves

• Leadership or lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive table service to residents and guests
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and service
• Guide and direct servers during service to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Support team members in completing assigned duties and maintaining standards
• Communicate goals, needs, and service flow throughout each shift
• Assist with dining room setup, service execution, and closing procedures
• Ensure adherence to sanitation, food safety, and service standards
• Support completion of temperature logs, labeling, and cleanliness expectations
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive dining environment
