Requirements

  • 15+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience preferred.
  • An Associate degree or equivalent certification in a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in related field preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years+ of automotive or diesel experience preferred
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand and power tools

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and climate control, ensuring all work meets exact specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and multi-point inspections efficiently to maximize fleet uptime and safety.
  • Ensure all trucks, trailers, and shop equipment continuously meet DOT and all other regulatory safety standards.
  • Monitor parts inventory, track component utilization, and accurately document all completed maintenance and repair orders.
  • Stay current with the latest industry advancements by continuously learning new technical information, tools, and diagnostic techniques.
