About The Position

The Lead Developer position serves as a technical lead responsible for planning and delivering enterprise application features from requirements through implementation. The role delegates and oversees teamwork, mentors and trains other developers, and provides regular status updates to Information Technology leadership. The role also develops and maintains secure, high-performing enterprise systems through testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Computer Science or Information Systems; or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.
  • 5 years’ relevant experience required, preferably in professional services setting.
  • High level of professional integrity required; ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.
  • Ability to successfully perform position requirements with excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team; ability and willingness to adapt to changing business demands.
  • Ability to produce acceptable amounts of work efficiently and accurately; ability to produce quality final work product.
  • Experience building applications on the .Net Platform.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Application Development using Microsoft .Net Core, C#, React or Angular and SQL Server.
  • Develop and implement SQL scripts, Stored Procedures and ETL processes.
  • Web Services, XML, SOA, JSON.
  • Sound knowledge of Rest API creation and consumption.
  • Responsive Design (using HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular, React or similar).
  • Strong Web Design skills.
  • Full Stack Development Experience.
  • Sound understanding of secure application life cycles and client/server architectures in an enterprise environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Code First and Unit Testing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Api Apps and Logic Apps.

Responsibilities

  • For given project requirements, create a plan for implementation of the requirements and determine deliverables.
  • Oversee the work of team members to ensure the features are implemented correctly and adhere to requirements and standards of the feature.
  • Delegate work assignments and identify needed project resources to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and timely product delivery.
  • Support, mentor and train other members of the Application Development team to accomplish tasks in support of program objectives.
  • Reports regularly to department management on objectives, projects, barriers and accomplishments.
  • Identify needed maintenance and implement updates on assigned applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives.
  • Define and document the architecture and development patterns and best practices in collaboration with other developers.
  • Design, monitor and maintain systems for high-level performance, security, and availability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze existing systems.
  • Research and develop new technologies.
  • Perform Unit testing, System and User Acceptance Testing, and Security Testing.
  • Analyze end user data needs in order to develop user-oriented solutions which interface with existing applications.
  • Write structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Write or revise program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in accordance with standards.
  • Code, test, debug, document, and install both new programs/technologies and changes to existing programs/technologies of a complex nature.
  • Design programs/technologies under the direction of supervisor with focus on internal and external clients, including but not limited to attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, and clients.
