About The Position

The Lead Developer is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, providing technical direction, and mentoring team members. This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure architectures while ensuring compliance with program standards and objectives. The Lead Developer fosters collaboration across development teams while promoting the adoption of best practices to enhance system performance and maintainability. This role drives innovation and ensures the successful delivery of software solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA
  • Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
  • Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • 12 years with HS diploma
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have active public trust clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification may be required. If not certified, ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire date may be required.
  • Experience with code reviews
  • Experience with designing architectures
