About The Position

FNBO is seeking a Lead Developer to join their team. This role involves leading application design, creating and maintaining application and network diagrams, and ensuring solutions comply with best practices in application security, encryption, and data in transit. The Lead Developer will mentor team members, participate in code reviews, and contribute to planning for initiatives by providing design, estimates, work breakdowns, and identifying dependencies. This position is a key contributor to the roadmap planning and execution for owned applications, ensuring alignment with the larger enterprise architecture. The role also involves collaborating with other technical leads, participating in development work, supporting the resolution of production issues, and creating steps to prevent recurrence. Additionally, the Lead Developer will have oversight responsibility for resolving vulnerabilities and compliance deficits, and will work with Change Management for code releases, rollouts, and post-release testing. Participation in an on-call rotation for production support is also expected.

Requirements

Technical Expertise in Enterprise data architecture and pipeline design
PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and data modeling
Python and Java proficiency
Serverless and event-driven architectures
Advanced SQL and data transformation optimization
API development, microservices, and REST architecture
Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
Git version control strategies and branching models
Familiarity with Mulesoft and flex gateway
Contract-first API development
Advanced Spring boot and Spring batch hands-on experience
Expertise with using AI tools
Leadership skills
Ability to architect and lead implementation of AWS-based solutions
Ability to establish technical standards and best practices
Ability to lead code reviews focused on maintainability, security, and performance

Responsibilities

Lead application design, including creating and maintaining application and network diagrams.

Participate in Agile ceremonies.
Act as a key contributor to roadmap planning and execution for owned applications and ensure these roadmaps align to the larger enterprise architecture.
Collaborate with other technical leads to identify dependencies.

Support resolution of production issues and create steps to prevent recurrence.
Provide oversight responsibility on resolution of vulnerabilities and compliance deficits.
