Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 12–15 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience must be specifically with system integrators and project-based roles.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Automation & Control systems.
  • Strong working experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens automation platforms.
  • Capability to lead FAT & SAT activities and ensure system performance and compliance.
  • Practical exposure to site activities including installation, commissioning, startup, and handover with strong safety compliance.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, procurement support, and subcontractor management.
  • Strong understanding and application of international standards and internal procedures.
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills with clients, internal teams, and third parties.

  • Plant operations or commissioning-only experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of automation and control system projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Review customer specifications and define project scope, key deliverables, and technical requirements in line with applicable standards.
  • Support bid and proposal activities by developing technical solutions, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to RFQs and evaluations.
  • Plan and conduct site surveys, assessing site conditions, logistics, safety requirements, and overall project feasibility.
  • Oversee system design and engineering activities for PLC, DCS, SCADA, and related automation systems.
  • Guide development of engineering deliverables such as IO lists, control narratives, and design documentation.
  • Supervise software configuration and application development for control systems and HMI/SCADA platforms.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead testing activities including FAT and SAT, ensuring systems meet functional and performance expectations.
  • Oversee site execution activities such as installation, commissioning, startup, and handover while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant international standards and company procedures throughout project execution.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and scheduling using standard business and project management tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
