About The Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Dentist to join our team in Vineland, NJ. As the Lead Dentist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our dental practice in Vineland, NJ. You will provide high-quality dental care to patients while also leading and mentoring a team of dental professionals. You have the option to be more involved with management or can spend time chairside.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Valid state dental license in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental practice.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and treatments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with practice management software and electronic health records
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent dental care to patients, including but not limited to: performing routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry procedures
  • Lead and mentor a team of dental professionals, including dental assistants, hygienists, and front office staff
  • Ensure that all dental procedures are performed in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain the dental equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in the dental field and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the practice
  • Manage the scheduling and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Handle any patient complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Oversee the financial performance of the practice and make recommendations for improvements
