About The Position
Lumio Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to manage back office responsibilities and provide chairside assistance. This role is ideal for someone with experience leading a back office or a seasoned dental assistant ready for a leadership opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong chairside manner. Lumio Dental is a dental partnership organization focused on maintaining the integrity of private practices, serving patients across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Texas.
Requirements
- Experience leading the back office or seasoned dental assistant experience
- Comfortable leading

- Strong chairside manner
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of dental assistants
- Communicate and partner with Doctors and Hygienists
- Order supplies and ensure compliance
- Keep the back office running smoothly
- Expose dental diagnostic X-Rays
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances
- Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth
- Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts
