Lead Deck Carpenter
About The Position
We're looking for an experienced lead carpenter to run deck and outdoor structure builds in the Springfield area. Immediate start available. This role involves leading framing and finish work on custom decks, porches, and pergolas, working from engineered and stamped plans, and building to code to pass inspections. Responsibilities include setting posts, beams, joists, decking, railing, and stairs, as well as running a small crew and ensuring the job progresses efficiently. Requirements
- 5+ years carpentry experience, deck or residential framing
- Able to read plans and lay out a complex build without hand-holding
- Own hand tools and reliable transportation
- Shows up on time and communicates when something changes
