About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled carpenter who can confidently lead projects, work independently, and maintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Previous carpentry experience required
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction practices
- Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and complete work with attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift materials as needed
Nice To Haves
- Lead or crew-lead experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform carpentry work on residential and/or commercial projects
- Read and interpret plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Complete framing, trim, finish carpentry, repairs, and other general carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, install, and assemble materials accurately
- Coordinate day-to-day work on the job site and help keep projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure completed work meets quality and craftsmanship standards
- Work alongside other team members and provide guidance when needed
- Communicate project needs, progress, and potential issues to leadership
