The CSR Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will provide some work direction to custodial staff. This role involves performing janitorial duties, providing work direction and assistance to custodians, and assisting the Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff. The Lead Day Porter will also operate motorized cleaning equipment, track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs, and schedule clean-up and repairs as needed. Maintaining daily upkeep of the assigned area, tracking and maintaining supplies inventory, and assisting the Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment are also key responsibilities. The position requires performing quality, service, and safety inspections, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, and monitoring employees for proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies. The Lead Day Porter is expected to correct at-risk behavior and provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.
