About The Position

The Lead Trauma Data Specialist is responsible for the integrity of data, including collection, analysis, entry, completion, and validation of all patient meeting inclusion criteria into the hospital trauma registry on a daily basis. This role ensures the delivery of Trauma Center Data to the American College of Surgeons (NTDB/TQIP), the State of Montana, and internally at Providence St. Patrick Hospital to maintain trauma center designation. The Lead Trauma Data Specialist will establish processes for data concurrency and validation to ensure databases are current and accurate. They will monitor the registry database through edit checks, inter-rater reliability auditing, and re-abstracting. Requirements

  • 2 years Registry data entry experience.
  • 2 years ICD and AIS coding.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Nursing or exposure to EMS.
