About The Position
Capgemini is hiring a Senior Snowflake Data engineer in Miami Florida. The ideal candidate should be able to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data driven applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions.
- 2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity.
- Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell).
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, or similar ELT/ETL tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) ).
- Architecting new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake
- Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions.
- Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation.
- Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs.
- Lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles).
