Capgemini is hiring a Data engineer to join their team in Miami FL. The ideal candidate should be able to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data driven applications.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell)
  • Tools: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, or similar ELT/ETL tools
  • Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA

Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) )
  • Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions
  • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs
  • Team Leadership: Lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles)
