Lead Data Analysis
About The Position
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. The overall purpose of this role is to research, collect, process, and organize data into various data repositories. This includes maintaining and updating interfaces, creating data rules and data mapping, resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications, and responding to business requests to analyze data to generate actionable insights. As an experienced professional, this role is recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. This role leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. It also mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. The role manages complex data movement and storage from multiple sources, and high-level analytics to solve business problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
- Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Python, etc.
Responsibilities
- Gather, preprocess, and cleanse data from various sources to ensure it is accurate and ready for analysis.
- Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and insights, creating reports and recommendations for business decisions.
- Create clear, factual/precise, and compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Identify, resolve, and ensure the accuracy of data discrepancies across platforms, maintaining data reliability through quality control and auditing.
