About The Position

As a D365 F&O Lead Functional Consultant, you will lead functional workstreams within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations. You will be accountable for delivery outcomes, solution quality, and alignment to overall project objectives, owning defined solution areas while aligning to broader architectural direction. You will drive Business Process Analysis efforts for your domain, facilitating workshops, guiding discussions, and translating outcomes into structured functional designs. You will shape Fit/Gap decisions by evaluating business requirements against system capabilities, recommending solution approaches, and progressing decisions in the absence of complete information while identifying where architectural guidance is required. You will own and drive functional design decisions within your workstream, ensuring solutions are scalable, consistent, and aligned with overall project standards and long-term system behavior. You will configure and oversee configuration across Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank), ensuring accuracy and alignment to business requirements. You will translate complex business processes into clear functional designs and configuration strategies that can be executed by delivery teams. You will coordinate across workstreams to manage dependencies, ensuring functional decisions align with integrations, data flows, and downstream system impacts. You will drive alignment within and across workstreams by identifying dependencies and escalating broader design conflicts, helping HSO maintain consistency in end-to-end solution behavior. You will contribute to broader solution design discussions by providing functional input on process transformation, data structures, and system behavior. You will identify and proactively manage risks related to functional design, data integrity, and process alignment within your domain. You will guide testing strategy for your workstream, ensuring validation aligns with business requirements and supports end-to-end solution integrity. You will support data migration activities by ensuring functional accuracy in mapping, transformation logic, validation, and reconciliation. You will lead client-facing discussions within your domain, providing clear recommendations, guiding stakeholders toward decisions, and navigating complex conversations with confidence. You will review and provide guidance on deliverables produced by junior consultants, reinforcing quality, consistency, and alignment to standards while leveraging team members effectively. You will support estimation and solutioning for defined workstreams, aligning scope, complexity, and delivery approach. You will progressively take on broader solution ownership, expanding beyond initial workstream responsibilities while increasing independence in functional design decisions.
