About The Position
This position requires a Lead Cytotechnologist with a strong background in Anatomic Pathology. The role involves overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring high-quality diagnostic services. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary education, experience, and licensure to perform and supervise high-complexity testing.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in Biology, Medical technology, or closely related field with one (1) year of training in an accredited cytotechnology program.
- Baccalaureate degree in Cytotechnology.
- Must meet and maintain the qualifications for personnel performing high complexity testing as outlined in CLIA 88 regulations.
- Must have current Florida Licensure in Cytotechnology.
- Must possess a current license as a State of Florida clinical laboratory supervisor or be qualified to obtain within six (6) months.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a cytology laboratory as a cytotechnologist.
