About The Position
Lead Custodian – Join Verde Clean At Verde Clean, we're on a mission to create clean, safe, and sustainable spaces where people work, learn, and thrive. As a Lead Custodian, you'll help keep our facilities spotless while supporting a company that values the environment, community, and your personal growth. About Verde Founded in 2019 and proudly minority-owned, Verde Clean delivers eco-friendly facility services with a strong focus on sustainability, safety, and social impact. From schools to offices, we help people across the U.S. live and work in healthier environments - and we give back through paid volunteer time and community engagement. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 1pm Pay: $18.50 per hour
Requirements
- 1+ year in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Know your way around cleaning tools and safety procedures.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

- Leadership experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, surfaces, restrooms, and more.
- Keep restrooms and supply areas stocked with paper goods, soap, and sanitizers.
- Identify and report hazards to ensure a secure environment.
- Assist coworkers and interact professionally with staff and visitors.
