About The Position

A seasonal park position is available at Trap Pond State Park: Lead Custodial - responsible for the custodial cleaning of bathrooms, facilities and offices. Performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment within the grounds and facilities of Trap Pond State Park. Cleans and sanitizes (check/refill toilet paper dispensers, wipes counter, picks up trash off the floor) various park facilities, bathhouses, and restrooms. Coordinates yearly deep clean of facilities. Supervises seasonal custodial staff and reports to Maintenance Supervisor. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat, sun, wind, insects. Applicant must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as schedule.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
• Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment within the grounds and facilities of Trap Pond State Park.
• Cleans and sanitizes various park facilities, bathhouses, and restrooms.
• Coordinates yearly deep clean of facilities.
• Supervises seasonal custodial staff.
• Performs variety of cleaning tasks in park restrooms and bathhouses; uses cleaning and sanitizing products to clean toilets, scrub showers, wipe down countertops, sweep & mop floors.
• Picks up litter and transports trash to disposal area.
• Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills.
• Other duties as required.
