About The Position

Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting for an experienced Lead CT Technologist for our busy Imaging Department. The Lead CT Technologist promotes efficient workflow within the imaging department by overseeing CT operations within the imaging department. This position will work closely with the Clinical Imaging Supervisor and Imaging Manager to ensure on-going quality, productivity, customer service, and supervision. This position requires travel to any CSNF clinic or location that provides CT services to patients. This Lead position must be available to work a flexible work schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certification through an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of PET/CT experience.
  • Familiar with state regulations
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current ARRT (R) and/or ARRT(CT).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the quality and quantity of procedures performed in CT
  • Direct point of contact for CT related exam approvals
  • Assist management with hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other related employee relations matters.
  • Orient new employees by providing training, ongoing education and staff development.
  • Ensures on-boarding of new employees is thorough and new employees are comfortable and confident.
  • Assists with ACR accreditation
  • Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members
  • Assist with scheduling and record keeping of equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during the transport to and from the mobile coach/facility, and during the exam
  • Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs
  • Under guidance and approval of supervising physician, administers contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals according to site-specific protocols
  • Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies with facility policies/procedures
  • Maintains current permits to practice
  • All other duties as assigned
