About The Position

SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company with a diversified portfolio of lifestyle solutions. As their brands scale globally, social media is crucial for discovery, conversation, and demand creation. This role is part of building a social creative engine designed to move at the speed of culture. The Lead Creative Strategist is the creative owner for Shark Beauty on social media, embedded within the social creative team. This role is accountable for what ships and responsible for ensuring content earns attention in-feed and in culture. It is a hands-on creative role for someone who can ideate, write, direct, and make, while partnering closely with the Social Strategy team, Social Studios team, internal creators, and external collaborators to bring ideas to life at scale.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in social-first creative, content, or creator-led environments
  • A true hybrid: you can think conceptually and execute hands-on
  • Fluent in internet culture, platforms, and formats — you know what works and why
  • Comfortable directing others but never afraid to make things yourself
  • Opinionated, collaborative, and allergic to boring content
  • Must submit portfolio with application

Responsibilities

  • Own Social-First Creative for Shark Beauty
  • Serve as the creative lead and tastemaker for Shark Beauty on social, in tight collaboration with the Sr. Director Social Media, Shark Beauty and VP, Social Creative
  • Develop social-first ideas that balance entertainment, product storytelling, and cultural relevance across organic, paid and influencer/creator content
  • Ensure creative work is designed to travel (through sharing, remixing, and conversation)
  • Write, edit, and shape content across short-form video, stills, and emerging formats
  • Direct shoots virtually, and in-person, with internal creators, studios, and partners — from lo-fi to higher-production moments
  • Collaborate closely with internal creators and Social Studios to translate ideas into scalable content outputs
  • Work hand-in-hand with Brand, Social Strategy, Influencer, and Media partners
  • Help shape creator and influencer creative by providing strong concepts, direction, and feedback
  • Act as the creative connective tissue between strategy and execution
  • Push for work that is culturally fluent, platform-native, and unmistakably social-first
  • Identify what’s working, what’s stale, and where the brand should experiment next
  • Contribute to evolving creative playbooks and best practices across the social org
