About The Position

This position will require local travel within the State. The Lead Courier is responsible for safely, securely, and lawfully transporting cannabis to dispensaries and samples to laboratories, as well as ensuring strict adherence to state law and all delivery and manifest protocols and controls. The Lead Courier may work alongside a partner to provide security for the staff and products from our cultivation facilities to off-site locations. Lead Couriers also may provide back-up for other departments.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D at a minimum.
Must be 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check.
Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history.
Maintain a current driver’s license and good driving record.
Confident navigating by using maps and GPS.
Ability to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carry product, totes, and push carts.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Steady employment history.
Perform duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all government regulations for the industry.
Carry out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with, OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOP’s and all applicable procedures.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Communicate well, in a professional manner with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Safely, securely, and lawfully transporting cannabis to dispensaries and samples to laboratories.
Ensuring strict adherence to state law and all delivery and manifest protocols and controls.
Working alongside a partner to provide security for the staff and products from cultivation facilities to off-site locations.
Providing back-up for other departments.
Assisting management and the fulfillment team with scheduling, prioritizing, and routing for maximum efficiency.
Coordinating assignments and projects with the appropriate personnel and providing on-site direction to crews when needed.
Coordinating with the courier team to arrange basic vehicle maintenance and repairs of all delivery vehicles.
Training new courier staff as needed.
Packaging deliveries and checking them against the order form.
Ensuring product is properly secured prior to delivery.
Accurately filing and maintaining manifests and cash transaction logs after each delivery.
Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product delivery.
Cross-training and providing coverage in the warehousing, processing, and cultivation departments, as business needs require.
Projecting a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
