Lead Counselor – Partial Hospitalization Program

We are seeking a Lead Counselor to provide clinical leadership and facilitate Partial Hospitalization Program groups, ensuring exceptional care for our clients. Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health) from an accredited institution, including completion of a clinical internship/practicum.
- Experience with DBT and co-occurring disorders strongly preferred.
- Experience facilitating group therapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
- Familiarity with Partial Hospitalization Program models of care and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting is a plus.
- Licensure preferred but not required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership within the Partial Hospitalization Program, supporting other counselors and program staff.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews.
- Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and external providers.
- Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting program needs.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior counselors, promoting professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support clinical operations.
