About The Position

This position is responsible for serving as a Shift Lead to other Correction Monitors. The Lead Corrections Monitor monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring accountability, safety, security, and compliance to corrections facility rules. They monitor client behavior and serve as a liaison between client and counselor, communicating pertinent information. This role also administers drug/alcohol testing as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
One year experience performing security work preferred OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Ability to obtain N.C.I.C and F.C.I.C.
Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Valid State Drivers License
