About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring the activity of residents on an assigned shift, ensuring accountability, safety, security, and compliance with corrections facility rules. The role involves monitoring client behavior, serving as a liaison between clients and counselors, administering drug/alcohol testing, and maintaining accurate logs for residents and the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED AND One year experience performing security work OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid state drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Monitors client behavior and serves as liaison between client and counselor.
• Administers drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Maintains accurate and complete logs for residents and the facility.
