About The Position

InnVentures is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cook to join the team at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring guests enjoy a quality dining experience, contributing to guest loyalty through consistent and extraordinary food product delivery. InnVentures operates over 75 hotels and has a 40-year history of proven management and revenue maximization.

Requirements

• Previous food handling or prep/line experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to stand and move around for an entire shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for the restaurant and catered functions.
• Oversee food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality.
• Creatively accommodate special requests from guests.
• Ensure food deliveries are timely, accurate and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
