About The Position

As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for the overall efficient functioning of the branch production shop. You will report to the Regional Production Manager and be part of the Production team. In this role, you will be based in Salt Lake City, Utah. A day in the life of a Production Lead can look like Facilitating the processing of customers’ orders by interacting with regional managers, outside sales, production, and office staff. Managing safety initiatives for the company. Administering best practices and training programs designed by the safety manager to achieve goal of zero accidents or injuries. Ensuring all orders are processed in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner. Overseeing quality control aspects as related to the production shop in collaboration with the Operations or Production Manager. Coordinating scheduling of installations with the sales team. Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues. Ensuring all shipping and receiving duties are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensuring installations are performed in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality, professionalism, or safety. Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Projecting a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with others. Maintaining a positive attitude towards work in the team environment.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a conveyor belt fabricator.
  • Strong fundamental math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
  • Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach.
  • Some climbing is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Some supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
