About The Position

In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and measuring employee communications strategies that engage the L3Harris workforce and strengthen organizational culture across multiple business sectors and corporate functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager of President and Employee Communications, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, creating and executing high-impact communications that align employees to enterprise priorities, reinforce company values, and drive engagement across our global organization. The role requires exceptional writing abilities, strategic thinking, and the capacity to translate complex business objectives into clear, compelling content that inspires and connects diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in corporate communications

  • Familiarity with and consistent usage of AP Style.

  • Deep understanding of best practice communication channels and methodology; embraces AI and other emerging tools and trends in practice.
  • Communications experience in aerospace, defense, technology or manufacturing industries highly desired.
  • Demonstrates agility, integrity and positive attitude; creates culture of trust and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to build and execute comprehensive communications programs, serving as a strategic advisor on messaging approaches and engagement tactics.
  • Create strategic, innovative and engaging employee communications content including town halls, employee webcasts, memos, video messages, talking points, presentations and multi-channel digital content that educates, inspires and motivates the workforce.
  • Employ the latest communications tools, platforms and analytics to maximize audience engagement and reach through multi-channel (intranet, email, digital, etc.) communications methods. Measure effectiveness and adjust strategy as necessary.
  • Build trusted partnerships with key internal stakeholders across the business, collaborating across teams and locations to share information, establish communications best practices and ensure enterprise alignment.
  • Support the deployment of change initiatives and organizational priorities by developing internal communications that align employees to strategy, educate on business imperatives and foster connection across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Translate complex technical, operational and business topics into clear, accessible messaging tailored to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Review and edit written content for accuracy, clarity and consistency in tone and style.
  • Manage multiple high-priority communications projects and competing deadlines seamlessly in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, public relations and subject matter experts to gather information and insights.
  • Travel as needed to support executive engagements and key events.
