About The Position

The Principal, GTM Strategic Communications & Programs serves as a trusted partner to the Director, GTM Strategic Programs & Chief of Staff, supporting executive communications, strategic program execution, and organizational readiness across UKG's global Go-to-Market organization. This role is responsible for developing executive-ready communications and content for the CRO and Field COO, supporting major customer and sales events, driving strategic communications across the field organization, and leading cross-functional programs that improve organizational alignment and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in executive communications, strategic communications, program management, or business operations
  • 5+ years developing executive presentations, keynote content, and leadership communications
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional strategic initiatives or enterprise programs
  • 3+ years of experience in a SaaS, technology, or Go-to-Market organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Sales or Go-to-Market leadership
  • Strong executive storytelling and presentation development skills
  • Experience managing executive events (Sales Kickoffs, customer events, QBRs, etc.)
  • Experience working with a Chief of Staff or executive office
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with change management, organizational communications, or business planning

Responsibilities

  • Develop executive presentations, keynote content, leadership messaging, talking points, and executive briefing materials.
  • Create communications supporting customer meetings, executive forums, analyst engagements, town halls, QBRs, sales kickoffs, and major organizational announcements.
  • Support development of executive messaging for GTMX, Aspire, customer events, leadership meetings, and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling communications tailored for multiple audiences.
  • Ensure executive communications maintain consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Manage GTM newsletters and organizational updates.
  • Coordinate communication calendars supporting major initiatives.
  • Develop field communications for launches, sales plays, readiness activities, and organizational changes.
  • Support executive visibility across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Enablement, and Operations.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and recommending continuous improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional programs that support execution of the Field COO's strategic priorities.
  • Manage enterprise initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Develop project plans, governance structures, milestones, and executive dashboards.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, HR, and Enablement.
  • Track program health, risks, dependencies, and executive decisions.
  • Facilitate project meetings and drive accountability for deliverables.
  • Provide strategic communications and program leadership supporting executive engagement activities, including: Executive keynote development, Customer presentations, Leadership forums, Executive panel discussions, Event messaging strategy, Speaker preparation, Presentation development, Executive briefing books.
  • Develop executive reporting and dashboards.
  • Support annual planning and quarterly business reviews.
  • Prepare executive meeting materials and decision support documentation.
  • Maintain governance documentation for strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
