  • Coordinate with the EPC and Compliance department to ensure required inputs and RFIs are available to the Compliance Consultant and support clarifications for approval of NERC-FAC-008 and NERC-PRC019/025/028 and 029 studies.
  • Identify and escalate commissioning blockers, missing prerequisites, design gaps, settings discrepancies, integration and schedule risks, and safety concerns, recommending corrective actions and ownership.
  • Lead preparation and execution of grid code testing required for Commercial Operation, including reactive power, PFR, and Automatic Voltage Control testing, coordinating the EPC, BESS and PCS OEMs, and PPC/EMPS provider.
  • Lead testing required to achieve COD under PPA requirements.
  • Travel to OEM facilities for buyoff or training as needed.
  • Provide general support and management of technical commissioning matters, including interconnection, communications, and schedule, as needed.
  • Maintain organized and clearly documented commissioning technical deliverables.
  • Interface with the projects’ independent engineer to ensure reports are accurately prepared and protect development and long-term ownership interests.
