About The Position
Leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. This involves understanding cloud computing as a model of IT deployment where a provider delivers IT solutions as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The role requires experience in system development and expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms. The Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge, managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from a manager. This role involves coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals, tackling difficult and complex problems, and influencing others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. The position provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge, potentially serving as the in-house expert on specific technologies. The role requires a complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts in a specialized field, along with broad knowledge of the professional field and other related functions. Goals are provided in the form of desired results, and the incumbent determines and develops approaches to solve functional area issues. An enhanced understanding of the department and its role in supporting the organization is expected, enabling easy collaboration with other departments to determine strategy and processes. The role involves seeking new ways to improve the department and function within the company, regularly providing insight into complex issues and answering complex department questions. The Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer either sets or participates in department goal setting and regularly provides direction for junior staff members. They possess advanced technical knowledge and some knowledge in related disciplines, with the strongest skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience. A four-year college degree or additional relevant experience in a related field may be possessed.
Requirements
- Experience in system development.
- Developed an expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms.

- Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field.
- Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions.
- Enhanced level understanding of the department and the role that is plays in supporting the organization.
- Has advanced technical knowledge and has some knowledge in related disciplines.
- Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience.
- May posses four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
- Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.
