About The Position

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Clinician for their ORR Program. This role is based across two locations in Bethlehem and Doylestown, PA. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or another relevant behavioral health discipline in which clinical experience is a program requirement, including 2 years of post-graduate direct service delivery experience.
  • Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in Pennsylvania.
  • Must exhibit integrity and good moral character appropriate for working with children in a residential or foster care setting.
  • Must successfully complete ORR-required background investigations.
  • Must provide proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route (Varicella, MMR, Tdap, annual Influenza) and comply with all state licensing health screening requirements including TB screening.
  • Must complete all ORR-required pre-service training, as required and scheduled by ORR.
  • Must complete all ORR-required continuing education on an annual basis, as required and scheduled by ORR, covering applicable ORR regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Must sign and comply with CHOR’s Code of Conduct consistent with ORR policy, confidentiality acknowledgement, and mandatory reporter agreement.
  • Must disclose any prior misconduct, including conduct occurring off duty, on employment applications and in interviews. Material omissions are grounds for termination.

Nice To Haves

  • Training or certification in TF-CBT is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all clinical services across both program locations.
  • Supervises the Clinicians and the Crisis Intervention Specialist.
  • Reviews and approves clinical assessments and treatment plans.
  • Ensures behavioral health services meet ORR requirements and evidence-based practice standards.
  • Provides clinical consultation on complex cases.
  • Holds primary responsibility for the program’s TF-CBT implementation.
  • Ensures behavioral health specialists complete required training on evidence-based practices in mental and behavioral health care delivery.
  • Ensures child-facing clinical services are provided on-site and in a confidential manner.
  • Participates in clinical case review meetings and quality assurance activities.
  • Supports development of the program’s clinical training plan.
  • Exercise independent judgment consistent with program policy, ORR requirements, and applicable law.
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and respond promptly to program needs, including outside standard business hours when required by the role.
