About The Position

Are you interested in providing critical intervention to families in crisis? If so, Devereux might have the right opportunity for you! We are looking to hire a passionate individual to join our team as a Lead Clinician. Devereux Florida provides programs and services for children and families. Based out of Orlando, FL, with a coverage area of Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties, this position with the Dually Served Youth and Family Program is responsible for: Providing therapy to children and families; this is a community based program and the position will be housed at a Community Center. Providing intensive services in a community settings, assessing clients, and formulating individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans. Consulting with and training parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs. Working with treatment team members and case managers; on-call telephone support for crisis and emergency situations on a rotating basis.

Requirements

Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field required
Two years' experience working directly with children and families
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida Required
Valid Driver's license
Must be willing to meet clients in community setting as this position is based out of a Community Center
Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test
Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and are committed and are emotionally disturbed
Bilingual (English-Spanish speaking) Preferred
Bilingual: English-Spanish or English-Creole (Preferred but not required)
