Lead, Clinical - Cornelius NC
About The Position
QualDerm Partners is seeking a skilled and dependable Lead, Clinical to support our providers, guide medical assistants, and help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. In this role, you will coordinate patient flow and daily medical assistant coverage, serve as the first point of contact for clinical workflow, supply, and EMA ModMed questions, train and support new medical assistants, assist providers during examinations and procedures, document care accurately in the EMR, prepare specimens, maintain instruments, and uphold infection-control standards, monitor medical supplies, inventory, and exam-room readiness, and help resolve patient concerns and implement new clinical processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assisting program and internship, or 2–3 years of recent dermatology experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant credential preferred
- Experience with EMA ModMed is a plus
