Requirements

  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood evidence-based practices.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • One (1) year direct work experience.
  • A current LCPC or LCSW License.
  • Must maintain the specific professional license and/or professional certification as required by state, federal governing boards, and other such certification boards as a condition of continued employment.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver’s License.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical program supervision according to administrative rule and corporate policy for assigned programs.
  • Collaborates with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other professionals to plan and coordinate treatment, considering individual youth needs and strengths.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress with respect to treatment goals.
  • Refers clients and family members to community resources for services to assist in meeting treatment goals and recovery, ensuring service efficacy.
  • May provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment services.
  • Spends time with consumers and families as assigned or identified on the treatment plan, assisting families with problem-solving.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings of consumers.
  • Reports behavioral and emotional observations of consumers and/or family members to the Support Team and modifies treatment plans according to changes in client status.
  • Attends and participates in mandatory training, in-services, staff meetings, and Corporate Committees as assigned.
  • Writes treatment summaries at least monthly, describing progress and changes in the strengths and needs of the youth and caregiver to inform service provisions.
  • Demonstrates a consistent willingness and ability to productively utilize work time to meet the needs of individuals served, meeting specific fiscal goals (billing, case load maintenance) on a monthly basis.
  • Utilizes and accurately records data using AWARE’s Electronic Medical Records System as assigned, outlined, and trained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
