About The Position

The Lead Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The lead clinical pharmacist facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program with current licensure as a pharmacist in state of practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/management or coordinator position in a hospital pharmacy.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical services appropriate to the age of the patients served on an assigned unit.

Nice To Haves

  • Completed an ASHP accredited residency program or other advanced training.
