About The Position

A Cleaning Lead at Velociti Services leads a team of cleaners and ensures work areas are cleaned to Velociti Services and client standards. The role responds to client enquiries and specific requests and communicates cleaning requests to the team. It also involves coordinating and monitoring cleaning activities, supporting team performance, and providing general cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning staff, focusing on cleanliness standards and conduct while on duty.
• Ensure a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered throughout the worksite or building.
• Review work schedules.
• Track inventory and order cleaning materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor all cleaning activities.
• Ensure staff know and follow Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Resolve disputes, complaints, and conflicts.
• Train new employees.
• Fill in and perform general cleaning as needed.
• Communicate with management.
• Discipline and reward employees.
• Maintain good relationships with customers.
• Conduct worksite inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
