About The Position

The Lead Cleaner ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and providing guidance. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present and demonstrates established standards to keep facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed. This position is described as suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.
One year of lead or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with preparing daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Manage keys and access cards for the property.
Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests in the assigned building.
Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building according to onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Obtain any additional certifications or training needed for the site type.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
