About The Position

The Lead Cleaner coordinates daily facility operations by delegating assignments, guiding team members, and providing supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent. The role demonstrates established cleaning and safety standards to help keep facilities safe and clean for workers and customers. It also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting janitorial duties as needed. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.
One year of lead or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with preparing daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Obtain any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
