About The Position
The Lead Cleaner is responsible for giving direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners. This role is a good fit for individuals new to the workforce or re-entering with limited experience and education. ABM is a military and veteran-friendly employer, encouraging applications from veterans and those with military experience. Relevant Military Occupational Specialties include 92S, 91J, BM, 0111, and 3F1X1.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and a Clear Record
- Floor Tech and Lead Cleaner experience is required

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to team members
- Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management
- Report performance issues to the Supervisor
- Assist with the training of cleaning team
- Coordinate work assignments
- Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
- Assist the Cleaning team with snow removal and salt spread
- Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
- Report work orders for maintenance
- Makes sure premises are secured at all times
- Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work
- Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager
- Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
- Complete order forms completely and accurately
