Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• 5–12 years of experience in building design, industrial or mission-critical projects preferred
• Strong understanding of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and relevant local codes
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, or similar tools
• Experience with fast-track design-build environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting project priorities
• An essential component of this position is regular and consistent business travel, mainly to the United States. It is a requirement of this position that the candidate satisfy the applicable criteria set by the US Immigration and Nationality Act for business travel to the United States, which criteria include, for example, the ability to demonstrate that they are a citizen or national of a country that is eligible for the Visa Waiver Program or are otherwise visa exempt.

Responsibilities

• Develop site plans including grading, drainage, roadways, and site access routes
• Perform structural design for data center buildings, including steel, concrete, and precast framing
• Design foundations, slabs-on-grade, and seismic/wind load systems
• Coordinate with utilities for routing of water, sewer, storm, and electrical services
• Develop equipment support designs for critical data center equipment (Gen, UPS, chillers, etc.)
• Prepare structural drawings, details, and technical specifications
• Provide internal support to Supply Chain Management (SCM) and prefabrication teams
• Participate in design review meetings with vendors.
