About The Position

In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.

Requirements

Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Owns safe, high-quality civil execution—expert knowledge of earthwork, grading, utilities, foundations, concrete, formwork, rebar, and embeds, with tight control of heavy equipment operations.
Plans and sequences civil work—drives mass earthwork, undergrounds, foundations, and slabs to protect access, interfaces, and downstream trades.
Controls quality—understands quantities, and rework drivers; anticipates risk and corrects early.
Coordinates across disciplines—aligns with survey, structural, MEP, and AWP teams to ensure layout accuracy and clean handoffs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in semiconductor, EV battery, or data centers preferred.
Hands-on implementation of AWP and OSM strategies; experience with project setup preferred.
Proficiency with digital execution tools, 4D/5D planning, and analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads the Civil Field Engineering team, providing guidance and oversight to the Civil Field Engineers deployed to the project.
Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.
Initiates requisitions for field purchases.
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities.
Coordinate with engineering on constructibility and design issues relating to the civil discipline such as excavation and backfill operations, piling, soil stabilization, and concrete installation.
Plan and recommend civil procedures to be implemented by Field Supervision to ensure construction operations are within requirements of engineering design and specifications.
Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.
Reviews and approves inspection test plans.
Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals.
