About The Position

To assist the Supervisor, Energy, Management, & Control Services, and collaborate with the Mechanical Supervisor in maintaining and operating chiller plants at Vienna, Virginia and Pensacola, Florida. Responsibilities include supporting vendor management and maintaining mechanical and electrical control systems associated with chiller plants. Provide guidance on all maintenance activities, including the Refrigerant Management Program, and assist in maintaining campus building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire systems, elevators) to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. Collect and analyze data from chiller plants for efficiency and energy usage studies. Support implementation of strategies to optimize Chiller Plant and Building Automation Systems (BAS) performance, effectiveness, and cost savings. Provide on-call support for emergencies and contribute to disaster recovery planning. Lead and assist with complex tasks requiring advanced analysis. Mentor junior staff.
