About The Position

This Lead Chemical Engineer position at Ecolab's CTG RD&E division is dedicated to the application of colloidal silica in concrete admixture and refractory products. The role is highly customer support-oriented, requiring significant domestic travel, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. The engineer will be responsible for planning and executing both field and laboratory trials, driving technology improvement, and serving as a subject matter expert in concrete admixtures. Ecolab aims to leverage its market leadership in investment casting industry supplies to gain significant market share in the concrete industry with this role.

Requirements

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related and 6 years of R&D experience; MS in Chemical Engineering or related and 4 years of R&D experience or PhD in Chemical Engineering or related and 2 years related R&D experience
  • Hands-on experience in concrete manufacturing processes, concrete admixtures design and formulation
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically
