Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, active RN or LPN license in the applicable state.
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in senior living, memory care, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred.
  • Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clinical guidance and workflow coordination for Med Techs, Caregivers, and CNAs during the assigned shift.
  • Coordinate resident healthcare services, respond to medical concerns and emergencies, and communicate changes in condition to appropriate parties.
  • Conduct resident health and wellness assessments and assist with resident evaluations and service plan development.
  • Oversee medication administration, including medication orders, refills, deliveries, physician orders, and Medication Administration Record (MAR) audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary clinical liaison between residents, families, physicians, medical providers, and community leadership.
  • Support resident move-ins, clinical transitions, and ongoing coordination of healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate resident health records, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Silverado policies, infection control standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Support follow-up activities related to falls, incidents, and changes in resident condition.
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately while providing direct resident care as needed and maintaining accountability for quality care outcomes.
