About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Carmel, IN is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant for their Internal Medicine department. This role operates Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. The Lead Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for coordinating daily shift activities and workflow for physician practice operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policy. They will also oversee the orientation and training of new associates, provide performance feedback and technical guidance, manage clinical inventory including supply levels and medication samples, and assign and review staff work to ensure compliance with clinical procedures and operational standards.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
