We are hiring immediately and offering the following: Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off) Local Deliveries - Home Every Night Prior touch freight experience is required Pay: Starting at $32 per hour Off on Major Holidays (8 Total) Must be 21 Year of Age Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (At least 1yr experience required) Benefits: Medical (default plan free to employees, spouse, and dependents), Dental and Vision (available first of the month following 30 days of employment), Vacation Pay, Paid Holidays, and 401k with Company match (after 60 days of employment) Responsibilities: Personnel Development: Act as the primary Field Trainer, onboarding and coaching new drivers to ensure high performance and safety standards. Operational Oversight: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of daily loads while maintaining strict compliance with ABC and DOT regulations. Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts to ensure service excellence. Strategic Support: Serve as a frontline resource for the delivery team, providing guidance and conflict resolution when the Supervisor is off-site. Safety Stewardship: Lead the department’s safety culture by conducting rigorous pre-trip inspections and enforcing company-wide safety protocols. Preffered Qualifications: Licensure: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Expertise: Significant experience in touch freight and high-volume delivery operations Leadership Aptitude: Proven ability to train, mentor, and communicate effectively with a diverse team. Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age with a commitment to professional growth and safety. Other responsibilities: The CDL Driver supports the facilities’ supervisors with leading and coaching of delivery team members by facilitating individual and/or group training while also assisting the delivery team with technical equipment You will be responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle This role must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts The CDL Driver will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military Must be at least 21 years old Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis
