The purpose of this job is to process merchandise and fuel transactions. The Lead Cashier will be responsible for leading a shift of one-to-two cashiers, processing various types of transactions, and completing end-of-shift reports. This role requires adherence to company and local guidelines, maintaining a clean work area, and using suggested selling methods. The Lead Cashier will also ensure quality service, handle guest complaints, resolve team member conflicts, determine break schedules, and assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining the deli, cleaning, stocking, and making coffee. The position requires modeling behaviors that support the company's common purpose and ensuring compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
