About The Position

The Lead Cashier is accountable for cash and electronic transactions. This role involves overseeing all cashiers to ensure work is completed appropriately, accepting accountability for cash transactions, and assuring all transactions are accounted for correctly. The Lead Cashier will also train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems, count down cash drawers with the previous shift lead present for accurate counts and reporting, and check in with cashiers at least once an hour for drops and change needs. Additionally, this position provides customer service and information to patrons, prepares for the next shift, conducts money audits, performs supply checks, and verifies that cashiers have all necessary paperwork. The Lead Cashier is responsible for ensuring quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities
