About The Position

Crew Members are responsible for delivering great guest experiences. They prepare products according to operational and quality standards and serve them with enthusiasm in a clean environment. They perform housekeeping and stocking duties for the store. In addition, they may assist the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager with balancing cash and making cash deposits. In the absence of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, the Lead Cashier/Crew Member provides minimal supervision of crew members and assigns duties for a particular shift(s). They ensure that the store is operating according to company policies/procedures and standards. They also assist the Restaurant Manager in processing the daily paperwork and bank deposit procedures, effectively execute and promote restaurant standards and marketing initiatives, and assist with training new crew members and staff on food preparation, cash handling, and other company policies and procedures. They communicate with team members and provide direction on food and drink orders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successfully completes all training including Dunkin’ Donuts Online University requirements, basic restaurant training, and Human Resource Training.
  • Mathematical ability for proper cash handling.
  • Ability to provide prompt, friendly and quality customer service.
  • Ability to perform stock/inventory duties.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in customer service.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in cash handling.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in supervisory skills.
  • Continuous standing for extended period of time, handling, fingering, use of eye-hand-foot coordination and corrected vision.
  • Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, reaching; pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. of merchandise cartons.
  • Seldom requires sitting, running and visiting/working at other sites.
  • Continuously requires attention to detail, concentration, alertness, and mathematical skills.
  • Continually talks to customers/clients and meets request of customers.
  • Frequently talks to co-workers and receives instructions.
  • Occasionally meets requests of co-workers.
  • Regularly talks to outside trade persons/vendors, talks on the telephone, trains/gives instructions and reads.
  • Occasionally meets request of vendors.

  • Complete all training and support the training of other team members.
  • Prepare all products following appropriate recipes and procedures.
  • Follow all procedures related to cash, cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security.
  • Comply with all restaurant policies.
  • Greet each customer in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Perform food preparation.
  • Follow security and safety policies/procedures.
  • Assist in the processing of daily paperwork.
  • Assist in conducting inventory, placing orders, and processing merchandise received.
  • Attend store meetings and training classes.
  • Check in new merchandise in a timely manner.
  • Perform stocking and/or pricing duties in a timely manner.
  • Clean food service equipment as needed.
  • Perform miscellaneous housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Assist in covering other locations as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
